All Trades and Free Agent acquisitions are FREE until
the 1st game of the season. After the season starts,
all Trades and Free Agent acquisitions are $2.

If you start a player whose team is on his bye week,
your team is assessed -2 for that player.

Injured Reserve: Each team is allowed to place one
injured player on IR and replace him from available
Free Agents. There is no fee for placing a player on
IR, but the standard $2 fee applies to acquire a Free
Agent. As soon as the injured player is returned to
the active NFL roster, he must be removed from IR and
all roster limits apply.

SAFFL Rule Clarification Sometimes I guess I assume too much, and the rule appear to me to say what I intended when the wording is unclear. Hopefully, this will clear some things up for many of you. Here is the intent of the rules pertaining to Backups and Starting players on their Bye Weeks: 1. If you list backup players when you submit your starting lineups, I will automatically substitute them in the order they are listed if your starter does not play for any reason (injury, suspension, illness, family emergency, abducted by aliens, eaten by goats...). If your listed starter plays for even one play that week, you will be credited with the starter's performance. 2. If you do not turn in a new starting lineup for a given week, then your lineup defaults back to the most recent roster submission I have from you. (This rule pertains to an individual roster slot you may have left out or an entire lineup not submitted.) 3. If you start a player on his bye week, the penalty is -2 whether it was intentional, accidental, or by default. 4. If you started a player on his bye week but listed backups, both rules 1 and 3 apply. You get the points for the backup that you listed, but you are still penalized -2 for starting a player on his bye week. Starting lineups must be submitted by the start of the
first NFL game of the week. Changes to the starting
lineup must be submitted by the start of the games the
players are involved in (including the new players and
the players they are replacing). Otherwise, you will
use the previous weekís roster. Injury alternates may
be turned in by the same schedule as the starting
lineups. Be specific. If a player in your starting
lineup does not play due to injury, your listed
alternate will automatically be substituted.

When playing a Kicker you are playing a team Kicker not
an individual player. (So when a kicker gets hurt you do not have to pick-up another kicker.) Standings are determined by Regular Season W/L Record,
followed by Division Record, Head-to-head Record, and
Total Points For.
